LVolume is a Flash based publication viewer brought to you by Lemberg Solutions. Click on the coloured titles below to find out more about our product and the service we offer.

How It Works

It’s a straightforward process.

1. A PDF is loaded into the LVolume administration utility, along with some fields of data: the title of the PDF, your customer number and a few other odds and ends that we use for management purposes.

2. The administration utility then runs some clever code that processes the PDF into a precise representation that works with the LVolume Flash component.

3. We ‘skin’ the Flash component with designs that suit your website, and host the lot on our public servers.

What then?

What’s the result?

We have a word with your technology people, work out the best way of hooking LVolume up with your website and send you the HTML you need to use.

Words don’t really do LVolume justice. Take a look at the MPF Global 500 Annual Report on the Managing Partners’ Forum website, if you haven’t already. Click on the ‘help’ button to get yourself started, and have a look around.

The fact that you can leaf through the PDF like it’s a magazine is only the start . You’ve got a ‘thumbnails’ function for quick browsing, you’ve got a ‘zoom mode’ where you can click-and-drag to move the page around the viewing area, you’ve got zoom controls to allow you to get the text size just right and you’ve got in-built viral distribution with the ‘send to friend’ function.

Readers who want to keep a copy of your document can ‘save to PDF’ and download it to their computer.
